Personal Background A life-long Rhode Islander, I grew up in North Kingstown, and graduated from North Kingstown High School in 1997. I then attended the University of Rhode Island, graduating with a degree in Business Administration (Marketing) in 2002. Although not part of my formal education, community involvement has always been important to me. One of the many jobs I had prior to my career as a realtor was at the South County YMCA as a counselor for both the summer camp and after- school programs. I’ve always enjoyed learning and teaching, and I had a lot of fun working with kids. It was a great job for a college student…flexible and fun. More importantly, I learned a lot about what people value as parents and as individuals, and how to resolve conflicts with “win-win” solutions…lessons I've found applicable to real estate. Currently, I occasionally volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, and I'm always willing to participate in new community projects. I take my work as a realtor seriously, but feel that a healthy balance between work and play is important. When I’m not working, my main hobbies include playing baseball, surfing, sailing, skiing, and snowboarding. Of those activities, I’m most passionate about baseball, and play in the Rhode Island Amateur Baseball League every summer. And when I can, I like to travel. So far, I’ve traveled to different states all over the U.S., and to parts of Europe. I like traveling to new places, but at the end of the day, nothing beats home. I enjoy living in New England, and have always felt that Rhode Island is a great place to live and work. Professional Background I consider myself to be very fortunate in my working life, primarily because I enjoy what I do. I’ve been around the real estate business my whole life. Growing up in a family of real estate developers, I have experience in aspects of the business that not all realtors are exposed to. Additionally, I have access to a range of real estate related services through a network of professional associates. As a licensed Realtor in Rhode Island for the last five years, I’ve helped clients from different age groups and backgrounds, with various motivations for wanting to buy or sell real estate. I specialize in the evaluation of raw land, undervalued properties (foreclosure / pre-foreclosure), waterfront properties, residential development / land use, and I'm comfortable working with investors and builders. Please know that I also focus on working with relocation clients (I’m relocation certified), and I work with first-time home buyers. As a “twenty-something” who recently bought his first home, I can relate! Whether you’re an investor, homeowner, or future home owner, I’ll be glad to assist you in any transaction. Patience, dedication, and a strong track record of success are my best qualities as a Realtor. References and letters of recommendation are available upon request.
